The IER Group’s Environmental Charter provides a concrete framework for this commitment to the environment. The IER Group intends to act over the long term to safeguard the environment by incorporating the following principles into our management practices:
Design and manufacturing
- Apply environmental requirements from the product design phase to ensure that we use renewable and non-polluting resources and that our products have a small environmental footprint.
- Manage IER Group facilities with respect for local laws, standards and regulations, particularly with the use of regular environmental audits.
Resources and training
- Reduce the environmental, health and safety risks for staff and people close to the sites through the use of safe technologies and customized operational procedures.
- Allocate the necessary financial and human resources to educate and train IER Group staff in order to facilitate permanent improvement with respect to the environment.
Relations with our stakeholders
- Ensure that suppliers and subcontractors respect IER Group requirements in terms of the environment, health and safety.
- Provide regular and transparent information to IER Group customers, shareholders and partners on the environmental aspect of our facilities and products.
